The Knitting Reference Library includes Montse Stanley’s collection of fiction. I am sure she had knitting in mind for every novel she chose to read. If you look closely at the title pages you will see Montse’s handwritten pencil notes giving page numbers. These are of course references to knitting, sometimes to dress and fashion. I have taken the time to make a list of titles and authors which may be refered to by Jonathan Faiers at the forthcoming In the loop 3: the voices of knitting. Jonathan is one of the keynote speakers, the title of his presentation is Knitting and catastrophe on Friday 7 September 2012.
